Front 242

Front 242 were formed in Aarschot, Belgium, by Daniel Bressanutti and Dirk Bergen in 1981. Jean-Luc De Meyer (vocals) and Patrick Codenys (synth) joined shortly after. Richard23 joined in 1982, and Dirk left the band in 1983. They are the foundation and creators of EBM style music, a term they came up with to describe their second album. The band officially ending January 2025.
